Scarlett De Witt, a SUNY Adirondack graduate in Political Science, plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in American government and a minor in Japanese at the University at Albany. Scarlett is the current Miss Niagara 2024, within the Miss America Organization. Her goal is to become the first female President of the United States. In 2022, she ran for NYS Assembly’s 113th District and is the youngest member appointed to the Glens Falls Board of Public Safety. She broke gender stereotypes by wrestling on all-male varsity teams in high school and college. Scarlett is passionate about breaking glass ceilings and advocates for gender equality.
